Man, 20, Killed In Car Crash

Deer Island, N.B. - Jamie Earl Hartford, 20, of Leonardville, Deer Island, N.B., was killed instantly when the car he was driving left the road at Welsh Pool, Campobello, N.B. Sunday afternoon.

Coroner Robert MacDonald of St. Stephen said that no inquest will be held into the accident.

Widely Known Halifax Funeral Director Dies

Roderick Grant MacAskill, 503 Century Towers, died Saturday in the Halifax Infirmary. He was 64.

Mr. MacAskill, vice president and secretary-treasurer of MacAskill's Halifax Funeral Home, was born in North Sydney, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Norman MacAskill.

A funeral director in Halifax for 30 years Mr. MacAskill was also an elder of St. Matthew's United Church, a member of the Royal Albert Masonic Lodge, North Sydney, and of the Scottish Rite, Rose Croix, Valley of Halifax.

He was treasurer of Grand Division, Sons of Temperance for Nova Scotia, a charter member of Armdale Kiwanis Club and a member of the Halifax Executive Association and the North British Society.

Mr. MacAskill is survived by his wife, the former Henrietta Nicoll of Sydney, two daughters, Jean Elizabeth and Nicole Mae, one son, Roderick Grant, one sister Jessie (Mrs. Sanford Johnston), North Sydney, and two brothers, Donald P., North Sydney and Duncan J., Halifax.

The body is at MacAskill's Halifax Funeral Home, 6270 Quinpool Road.

Service will be held Tuesday at 3:30 p.m. in St. Matthew's United Church. Rev. G. A. A. Beveridge will officiate.

Interment will be in Camp Hill cemetery.

Explosion Kills One, Injures Four

One of four men injured in an explosion in Halifax harbor Friday in which another man died, was said to be in satisfactory condition and improving in the Victoria General Hospital last night. The other three men were released after treatment Saturday.

Still in hospital is George Langille, 34, of 19 Windmill Road, Dartmouth. The man who died was Harvey Leo Keeping, 38, of 5 Waddell Avenue, Dartmouth.

Brother of the dead man, Albert Keeping, Ralph Morrisey, and Charles More, all of Dartmouth, were released from hospital.

The incident occurred early Saturday morning off Navy Island. The men had started a fishing trip on the Cape Island fishing craft.

Three navy men, Ernest McMurrer, Allan Law, and Robert Evans, assisted in bringing the injured men and their boat to shore.

One Killed, One Hurt In Crash

New Waterford - Malcom Gillis Stephenson, 17-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert L. Stephenson New Waterford, was killed in a single car accident near here Saturday.

The youth was a passenger in a late model station wagon which, Glace Bay RCMP said, overturned on a slight turn on the Gardiner Mines highway, approximately five miles east of here. He died in New Waterford Consolidated Hospital shortly after being admitted.

A second-year student at Xavier College, Sydney, Malcom Stephenson is survived by his parents, four brothers, Michael, Ottawa; Leonard, George and Gerald, at home; two sisters, Roberta and cathy, at home.

The body is at the family residence, 81 St. Joseph's Street. Funeral service will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. in Mount Carmel Church, Rev. George Stephenson and Rev. Michael Stephenson officiating. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.

J. S. Coughlan Dies In Halifax

James S.[Stephen] Coughlan, 70, of 7 Simpson Avenue, died Sunday at the Victoria General Hospital. He was president of Coughlan's Fairview Monument Works.

Born in Halifax, he was the son of the late Francis and Mary Coughlan.

He was a life-long member of St. Agnes Parish until two months ago when he moved to Fall River.

He is survived by three sons, Harold F., Terry D., James M., all of Halifax; three daughters, Moira (Mrs. G. A. Auberten), Sudbury, Ont.; Eileen (Mrs. Thomas J. Farrell), Nantucket, Mass.; Miss Margaret Coughlan, at home. His wife, the former Geneva Murray, died last year.

The body is resting at Cruikshanks Funeral Home, Robie Street. Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, 9 a.m. at St. Agnes Church. Interment will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.

Annie Kerr, 74, Former CNR Ticket Clerk, Dies

Annie Ethel Kerr, for 43 years an employee of Canadian National Railways, and the first woman to be hired by the CNR passenger department, died in the Halifax Infirmary Sunday. She was 74.

Mis Kerr, daughter of the late James and Mary (McEachern) Kerr, was born in Halifax and attended College Street and St. Patrick's High Schools.

She joined the CNR staff in 1917 as a stenographer. Two years later she was made accountant. In 1931 she became clerk in the district passenger's office and in another 12 years was made chief clerk in the city ticket office.

When Miss Kerr reached retirement age in 1960 her departure from the CNR elicited numerous expressions of regret not only from her fellow workers but from the public.

At that time one of her superiors was quoted as saying: "It takes more than skill in interpreting tariffs; facility in preparing involved itineraries; more than the knack of remembering faces, rates, train times and peculiarities of schedules to make the success of one's profession that Annie Kerr has made of hers.

"On both sides of the counter she has made a lasting impression.

She had a truly magnetic personality.

"Once people did business with her, they wouldn't talk to anybody else.

"They'd queue up to deal with Annie and sh'd ignore everybody else until the person across the counter went away satisfied. Didn't matter how long it took, the rest just had to wait. They knew, though, that when it came their turn they'd get the same service."

One in whom the work habit was so firmly ingrained was unable to accept a life of leisure. Following a short vacation Miss Kerr accepted a position with the Simpson-Hurst Travel Agency (now the P. Lawson Agency) where here wealth of knowledge and experience proved invaluable. She retired only last December.

An active church worker Miss Kerr was a parishioner of St. Theresa's and a member of the Children of Mary Sodality and the Catholic Women's League.

She was a board member of the Railway Employees Credit Union, the Retired Railway Employees Auxiliary and the Halifax Co-Op Society.

Surviving are one sister, Alice, one brother, Thomas, and two nieces, all of Rockville, Conn.

The body is at Cruikshank's Funeral Home, Robie Street. Mass will be offered in St. Theresa's Church Wednesday at 8 a.m. Burial will be in Mount Olivet cemetery.

George Hall

Hall, George - Age 52 years, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Malcolm McF. Hall formerly of 49 Vernon St. died in New York on July 18, 1969. He attended LeMarchant School and St. Mary's College and was employed at Matheson, Ontario with the Imperial Bank. On the outbreak of World War II joined the Algonquin Regiment, transferred to R.C.A.F. and received his pilot wings at Uplands, Ontario. Attached to R.A.F. due to service injuries confined to hospital in Oxford, England. After discharge was with D.V.A. at Ottawa, Ontario. Is survived by his family in the United States. Sisters Mrs. Ted Mullins Gladys, Elizabeth (Mrs. I. M. Brunett), Helen (Mrs. L. L. Bain) Liverpool, Sally (Mrs. C. A. Gray) Ottawa. Brothers, Wyman, Clyde and Laurie. Predeceased by brothers Malcolm and John. Funeral to be held in Halifax. Arrangements incomplete.

Mrs. J. A. (Eva R.) Mosher

Mosher, Mrs. J. A. (Eva R.) - passed away at her home in Mulgrave Park. Remains of the late Mrs. Mosher will be resting at Snow's Funeral Home, Argyle Street. Funeral arrangements incomplete.

Miss Florence Edna Sanderson

Sanderson, Miss Florence Edna - of Rawdon, passed away at the V.G. Hospital on July 17, 1969, age 69 years.Remains were transferred from the Withrow-MacMillan Funeral Home, Upper Rawdon, to Fulls Undertaking Parlor, Salem, Mass., for funeral service Monday. Interment, Green Lawn Cemetery, Salem, Mass.

Manley James Walsh

Mrs. Delilah Mae Medicraft

Mrs. Delilah Mae Medicraft, 76, widow of Abram Medicraft, of Dalhousie Lake, Annapolis County, died Friday as a result of a highway accident at Hampton. Born in Bear River, she was a daughter of late John and Jan Hannam.

Surviving are one son, Walter Elvin, Dalhousie West; two daughters, Gertrude (Mrs. Ivan Bent), Bridgetown; Edith, (Mrs. Blaise Newton), Halifax; three sisters, Belle (Mrs. Johnson Howse), Upper Granville; Gertrude (Mrs. Harold Woodworth), Dalhousie Lake; Evelyn (Mrs. Hallet Hannam), Dalhousie West; three brothers, Walter, William, both Bridgetown; Kenneth, Dalhousie Lake; 3 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. One sister is dead.

The body is at the Bridgetown Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at the United Church, Dalhousie Centre, at 2 p.m. today. Rev. R. N. Shaw officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery, West Dalhousie.

John A. Smith

John A. Smith, 82, of 19 Clifford Street, Amherst, died Friday at Highland View Hospital.

He was the son of the late Mithias and Saraha Smith of Shinimicas.

His first wife, Hilda Leah Smith died in 1934; and a daughter Joan (Peggy) Smith in 1968.

Besides his second wife, Madeline L. Smith, he is survived by three daughters, Jean (Mrs. William Ellis) of Amherst; Marilyn (Mrs. George Chapman), of Amherst Head; Sharon (Mrs. Garry Crooks, Amherst; one son, John, at home; four grandchildren; one brother, Roy, Sydney.

The body is at Campbells Funeral Home, where the service will be held Monday, at 2 p.m. with Lic. Rodger Prentice officiating. Interment will be in the Highland Cemetery.

Mrs. Grace Alice Eldridge

Mrs. Grace Eldridge, 90, widow of Otis Eldridge, of Chester Basin, died Saturday. She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Boutilier.

Surviving are five sons, Harold, Bridgewater; Milford, Chester Basin; Clarence, Truro; Earl and Laurie, both Middle River; three daughters, Blanche (Mrs. Murray Countway), Middle River; Mabel (Mrs. Cecil Chandler), Chester; Betty (Mrs. AllanKillen), Bedford.

Mrs. Inez Velzora Dill

Mrs. Inez Velzora Dill, 88, of Detroit, formerly of Windsor, died July 18 in Detroit. She was the widow of Charles Dill and of Frank Wigmore, her first husband.

Born in New Germany, she was a daughter of the late Morton and Mary (Varner) Beach.

Surviving are two sons, Charles Wigmore and Hazen Wigmore, both of Rochester, N.Y.; one foster son, Frank Campbell of Detroit; one sister, May (Mrs. George Wambolt), Sydney; two brothers, Clyde of Stewiacke, and Enos of Rochester; 12 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

The body is at Lohnes Funeral Home, Windsor, where funeral service will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m., with Rev. Elwood Schofield officiating. Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery, Windsor.

Walter Edward Doyle

Walter Edward Doyle, 70, of 18 King Street, Sydney Mines, retired coal miner, will be buried in St. Joseph's Cemetery today, following funeral service at 10:30 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Church.

Born at King's Cove, Bonavista Bay, Newfoundland, he was a son of the late Edward and Lucy (Kennedy) Doyle.

Surviving are his wife, the former Josephine Harrietha, five daughters, Lucy (Mrs. Samuel Lamey), Sydney Mines; Medie (Mrs. Hector Boutilier), Little Pond; Ellen (Mrs. Neil MacPhee), Sydney Mines; Betty (Mrs. Samuel MacLean), Sydney Mines; Ann (Mrs. Vincent Isaac), Edmonton, Alberta; three sons, Eddie and Jim, Sydney Mines; Leo, Fort Rae, North West territories; three sisters, Ellen C., Bride, and Ann, all of Boston; a brother, Jim, Wyandette, Michigan.

Two daughters, Mary Josephine and Monica are dead.

Mrs. Beatrice Elizabeth Bailey

Mrs. Beatrice Elizabeth Bailey, 74, of 30 Eddy Street, Amherst, widow of William B. Bailey, died Saturday at Highland View Hospital. Born at Tidnish she was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John P. Helm.

Her husband died in 1960. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Myrtle Murray, Amherst; one son, Henry Beckman of Hollywood, Calif.; four brothers, John F. Helm of Tidnish; William F. of Brewer, Me.; Robert of Amherst; and Percy, Tidnish; also two grandchildren.

The body is at Furlong's Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held there today at 2 p.m., conducted by Rev. H. G. MacKenzie. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Tidnish.

Harvey Leo Keeping

Harvey Leo Keeping, 38, of 5 Waddell Avenue, Dartmouth, who died Saturday in a boat explosion off Halifax Harbor will be buried today following funeral service at 3 p.m. at Mattatall's Funeral Home, Rev. Robert Jones officiating. Interment will be in Dartmouth Memorial Gardens.

He was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Keeping.

Surviving are his wife, Dorothy; one son, Bernard; one daughter Margaret; two brothers, William, Toronto; Albert, Dartmouth; four sisters, Elizabeth (Mrs. Ted Best), Dartmouth; Anne (Mrs. George Carroll), Halifax; Gladys, (Mrs. Bert Cameron), Dartmouth; Dorothy (Mrs. Sheldon Porter), Lake Echo.

Mrs. Gertrude Sheck

Mrs. Gertrude Sheck, 52, of Parrsboro died Saturday in the Parrsboro Hospital. Born in New Salem, Cumberland County, she was a daughter of the late Harding Brown and Lillian Bolisby.

Surviving are her husband, Harold; two daughters, Dora (Mrs. Byron Melanson), Halifax; Dale (Mrs. David Read), Parrsboro; two sons, Norwood, and Sherwood, both of Vancouver; four sisters, Helen (Mrs. Reynolds Weldon), Sackville, N.B.; Mrs. Hilda West, New York; Mrs. Dora Chase, Halifax; Minnie (Mrs. Leslie Cook), West Brook, Cumberland County; Stanley, Amherst; and nine grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. today at Smith's Funeral Home, Parrsboro, Rev. Gordon Hazelwood officiating. Interment will be in the Anglican cemetery, Parrsboro.

Miss Edith Ruth MacNab

Miss Edith Ruth MacNab, 42, of 2855 Doug Smith Drive, Halifax, died at the Basin View Home on Friday.

She was the youngest daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. L. A. Macnab of Halifax and Armdale.

She is survived by seven sisters, Mary, (Mrs. M. Murray), Halifax; Rita, (Mrs. B. Vaughan), Truro; Margaret, (Mrs. D. Brown), Montreal; Helen, (Mrs. M. Mont), Halifax; Frances, (Mrs. M. Wasklenky), Hamilton; Marion, (Mrs. G. Fader), New London, Conn.; Joan, (Mrs. G. Driscoll), Dartmouth; and one foster sister, Norma, (Mrs. W. Parker), Port Alberny, B.C.; also several nieces and nephews.

The body is at the Halifax Funeral Home, Quinpool Road, where funeral service is to be held Tuesday, at 2:30 p.m., with Rev. W. Charles Anderson officiating. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery.

Donald Hugh Oakes

Donald Hugh Oakes, 64, of Waverley, died at the Halifax Civic Hospital Saturday. Born in Halifax, he was a son of the late George and Margaret (Hubley) Oakes.

Surviving are one sister, Dorothy (Mrs. Arthur MacDonald), Waverley; two brothers, Roy, Fall River; Maurice, Waverley.

One sister and one brother are dead.

John Bryson Fraser

John Bryson Fraser, 74, of Higginsville, died Saturday in Musquodoboit Valley Hospital. Born in Caribou Gold Mines, he was a son of the late Sidney and Harriet Fraser.

Surviving are his wife, the former Vera Stevenson; four daughters, Marian (Mrs. Robert Williams), Dartmouth; Dorothy (Mrs. Duncan Glawson), Mooseland; Julia (Mrs. Robert Sullivan) Ottawa; and Bernice (Mrs. Byron Taylor), Dartmouth; five sons, Edson, Fred, Richard, Allen, and Francis, all of Dartmouth; 15 grandchildren, and one brother, Bates of Elmsdale.

The body is at Ettinger Funeral Home, Middle Musquodoboit. Funeral service will be held Tuesday at 2:30 p.m., in Higginsville United Church, with Rev. J. D. N. MacDonald officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

James Robert Barker

James Robert Barker, 72, of 52 MacDonald Road, Westphal, Halifax County, died Saturday at the Victoria General Hospital. Born in Westphal, he was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Vasey Barker.

His wife is dead. Surviving are three step-daughters, Olive (Mrs. harold Nagle); Dororthy (Mrs. William Murphy), both of Halifax. Lillian (Mrs. Robert McClure), Oshawa, Ont.; four step-sons, Graham and Leslie, Vancouver; Beverly and Michael, England.

The body is at Mattatall's Funeral Home, Dartmouth, where funeral service will be held today at 1.30 p.m. Rev. D. Hergett officiating. Interment will be in Dartmouth Memorial Gardens.

Robert Snow

Robert Snow, of 117 Ochterloney Street, Dartmouth, died Friday at the Victoria General Hospital. Born in Fogo, Newfoundland, he was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Snow. He was a former longshoreman in Halifax.

Surviving are one daughter, Edith, (Mrs. John Cleary), Dartmouth; four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; one brother, Leonard, Saint John, N.B. His wife and one son are dead.

The body is at Mattatall's Funeral Home, Dartmouth. Funeral service will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m., in Emmanual Church, Rev. Robert Jones officiating. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery.

Mrs. Gwendolyn Clare Laffin

Mrs. Gwendolyn Clare Laffin, 50, wife of Marsden Laffin, Princeport, Colchester County, died yesterday in the Colchester Hospital.

She was born in Florence, Cape Breton, daughter of the late Edward and Gwladys (Strople) Barrie.

Besides her husband, Marsden, she is survived by one brother, Kay, Florence, Cape Breton.

The body is at the Mattatall Funeral Home, Truro, where funeral service will be held Tuesday at 3:30 P.M. with Rev. Issac Butler officiating. Interment will be in the Old Barns Cemetery.

Manes Fulton MacKay

Manes Fulton MacKay, 60, of Hudson, New hampshire, formerly of Truro died in Nashua, New Hampshire, yesterday.

He was a son of the late Daniel J. and Annie (Fraser) MacKay, and had lived in New Hampshire for the past 15 years.

Besides his wife the former Elizabeth Reid of Debert, he is survived by two sisters, Laurren (Mrs. Robert Smith), Truro, and Ida (Mrs. Ross Stone), Onslow; one brother, Lawrence, Saint John, New Brunswick, and several nieces and nephews.

Two brothers and two sisters are dead.

The body will be forwarded from Nashua to the Mattatall Funeral Home Truro, Tuesday. Service will be held on Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the funeral home with the Rev. D. A. Metzler officiating. Interment will be in the Watson Cemetery.

Harold G. Woodworth

Harold G. Woodworth, 78, of Berwick, died Saturday at Camp Hill Hospital, Halifax. Born in Berwick, he was a son of the late William and Carrie (Godbold) Woodworth.

He was a veteran of the First World War and, when he retired in 1956, was supervisor of inspectors with the department of agriculture.

Surviving are his wife, the former Helen Morse; one son, Harold, Truro; two brothers, William of Windemere, and John of Connecticut; four sisters, Edith (Mrs. Gordon Cain), Hatfield Point, N.B.; Mae (Mrs. Francis MacMann), Aylesford; Mrs. Alice Van Hogan, Halifax; and Proctor (Mrs. Earl Craig), North Bay, Ont.; and three grandchildren.

Two brothers and one sister are dead.

The body is at H. C. Lindsay Funeral Home, Berwick. Funeral service will be held Tuesday at 2:30 p.m., in Berwick Baptist Church, Rev. A. G. Robinson officiating. Burial will be in Berwick cemetery.

Mrs. John A. Moore

Mrs. John A. Moore, 74, of Lockeport, Shelburne County, died Saturday at Lockeport.

Born Elvira Ketherine, she was the daughter of the late John and Emma Corkum of Mount Pleasant, Lunenburg County.

Surviving are two sons, Rexford of Truro, and Carmen of Lackeport, one sistetr, Blanche (Mrs. John Sperry), of Pentz, Lunenburg County, and six grandchildren.

Her husband, John, is dead.

The body is at Huskilson's Funeral Home, Lockeport. Funeral service will be held Monday at 2:30 p.m. at Saint Andrew's United Church, with interment in the Lockeport Cemetery.

Walter Joseph Shanahan

Walter Joseph Shanahan, 71, of New Glasgow, died Friday in Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow.

Born in St. Peter's, Cape Breton, he was a son of the late John and Marie (MacNeil) Shanahan.

He is survived by his wife, the former Ethel Leadbetter, Trenton, four sons, Bernard, Ronald, Jack, Herman, all in New Glasgow; five daughters, Ester (Mrs. Francis Thompson), Stellarton; Betty (Mrs. Hugh Campbell), Lee (Mrs. James Russel), both of New Glasgow; Nickie (Mrs. Carl Armsworthy), and Brenda (Mrs. Gary White), Dartmouth; 23 grandchildren; two brothers, Raymond and Herman, and a sister Sadie, all in Seattle, Wash.

The body is at the Angus Funeral Home. Service will be held Monday in St. John the Baptist Church at 9 a.m. Interment in the parish cemetery.

Capt. Alexander Livingston

Capt. Alexander Livingston, 85, of Brooklyn, New York, formerly of Cape Breton, died Saturday in Brooklyn. Born in Big Bras d'Or, he was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Livingstone.

Surviving are two sons, William, New York; Arthur, Florida; a brother, Harrison, Halifax.

The body will be at the Fillmore and Whitman Funeral Home, Sydney Mines Tuesday. Funeral arrangements are incomplete.

Mrs. Elizabeth Rutherford

Mrs. Elizabeth Rutherford, 79, of Middle Musquodoboit died July 18. She was the daughter of the late Job and Zeulicia (Dartt) Creelman.

She is survived by one son, Harry, at home; and one daughter Greta (Mrs. Max Warren), St. Catherines, Ont.; three brothers, Stanley and Harry of California; and Dartt, of Massachusetts; also 10 grandchildren.

Her husband Frank is dead.

Funeral services will be held today at Riverside United Church at 2.30 p.m. Interment will be at Middle Musquodoboit.

Mrs. Winnifred Bertha Horner

Mrs. Winnifred Bertha Horner, 83, of Dartmouth, died Saturday at the Halifax Infirmary. She was the widow of Henry Horner.

She is survived by one brother, Percy, Dartmouth; three sons, Reginald, Basil, and Lloyd, and 10 grandchildren, all of Dartmouth. One son is dead.

The body is at the Dartmouth Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at Immaculate Conception Church, Dartmouth, Tuesday at 9 a.m. Rev. William Penny officiating. Interment will be in Gate of Heaven cemetery, Sackville.

James Robert Fraser

James Robert Fraser, 69, of Granton, Pictou was buried yesterday.

Born in Westville, he was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Isaac Fraser. He had been employed with the Department of Highways until his retirement several years ago.

He is survived by his wife two daughters, June (Mrs. Frank Chennell), Stellarton and Jacqueline (Mrs. James D. Taylor), Camp Borden, Ont.

William Moores Sr.

William Moores Sr., 29 Ingraham Street, North Sydney, will be buried today in Lakeside Cemetery, following service at 2:30 p.m. at the Seven Day Adventist Church.

A retired miner and carpenter, he was born in Newfoundland, 78 years ago, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. William T. Moores.

Surviving are his wife, five sons, William T., North Sydney; Pastor Philip, Oshawa, Ont.; Gordon, North Sydney; Hayward, with the Canadian Armed Forces, Camp Borden; Dr. Arthur, Hong Kong and a brother, Eugene, Marksday, Ontario.

Gaudin M. Dutot

Gaudin M. Dutot, 81, North Sydney, retired superintendent of the North Sydney terminus wharf, died at his home Saturday. Born in Newfoundland, he had resided in North Sydney for the past 60 years.

Surviving are four daughters, Agnes (Mrs. Elbourne Cann), Leitches' Creek; Jean (Mrs. Leis Isnor), Halifax; Frances (Mrs. Darryl Jefferies), Sydney, Phyllis (Mrs. Russell Day), North Sydney; a son, Gaudin Jr., British Columbia; two sisters, Mrs. harriet Stanford, Sydney Mines; Mrs. Louise Boone, St. John's, Newfoundland.

The body is at the Dooley Funeral Home, North Sydney.
