Poetry

American Media

Speaking only whispers.
Showing only shadows.
What sullen reflections
Of half-truth and rumour,
Twisted
By self-anointed experts into
Knots
Even they can't untie.
Nooses
Hanging downwards like
Long-lines drifting at sea,
Jigging for an endangered species.
We see the hook yet circle the bait.
